Privacy and data use

Truedo processes your account identifier and verified email, profile information you provide, interests, polls, choices, votes, comments and privacy preferences to operate the service. Google sign-in uses basic profile and email information for authentication. Your Google password is not shared with Truedo.
Phone verification and security
Participation requires phone verification through Twilio. Your number is sent to the verification provider; Truedo stores a keyed digest for reuse and security checks. Session, abuse-prevention and moderation records support service security.
Providers and AI
Clerk provides account authentication; Cloudflare provides hosting, storage, connection security, content moderation and translation; Twilio provides SMS verification. Content under review may be sent for safety checks and text requested for translation may be sent for translation. Questions you choose to send to the support assistant are processed by Cloudflare AI to find help articles. Truedo does not store support conversation transcripts. Providers process data under their own terms, potentially in different countries.
Visibility and choices
Approved content can be viewed by other signed-in members. Anonymous and private-profile settings limit visibility; authorized moderators may review the real account. Share previews do not show the poll author’s name. Do not include private or sensitive information in poll text.
Cookies and visitor measurement
Authentication and security use session cookies. Optional visitor measurement depends on consent and stores a random session ID, section, times and sign-in state. That measurement table does not store names or IP addresses and retains records for seven days. Anonymous daily session totals are retained long term. Hosting and security providers may maintain separate technical logs.
Retention, access and deletion
Account and content records are retained to operate the service. Use Download my data and Delete account in the application. Deletion removes the profile and published content; limited security, moderation and backup records may not disappear immediately. Manage your authentication-provider account separately.
